Advance Care Planning 201: Conversations Worth Having

We recently had the privilege of hosting a representative from Hospice Waterloo at the Woolwich Community Health Centre. Together, we delved into the crucial topic of advance care planning and how to approach this conversation with our loved ones.

Advance care planning is about making decisions ahead of time about the healthcare you would want to receive if you become unable to speak for yourself. It's a topic often avoided, yet immensely important for ensuring our wishes are respected during challenging times.

During the session, attendees learned valuable insights and strategies for initiating these conversations with compassion and understanding. We're thrilled to share that the recording of this enlightening session is now available for those who couldn't attend in person.

Watch the recording below and take the first step towards ensuring your voice is heard when it matters most. Let's embrace these discussions with openness and empathy, enriching our relationships and empowering ourselves and our loved ones in the process.

A big thank you to Hospice Waterloo for their advance care planning education sessions!

Together, let's navigate the journey of advance care planning with care and consideration.
