Director of Community Team
Gebre Berihun
As a health promoter, Gebre is responsible for a range of health promotion activities that engage community members in understanding and taking action to address health issues, including planning and coordinating health and wellness education. Gebre also assists Woolwich Healthy Communities (a community wide initiative).
Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor
Jannah Tudiver
Jannah (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) at WCHC. Jannah brings 15+ years of clinical experience and leadership in wellness education. She has practiced in community health care, post-secondary settings, and outpatient addictions treatment. She has worked with people ages 5 to 90+ with a diverse range of issues and needs. She has facilitated hundreds of wellness programs and can't wait to see you at our next one!
Rural Community Health Worker
Paula Ballak
Paula has worked at WCHC for over 12 years. Currently she holds two positions, one as a Rural CHW and the other as a Clinical Nurse. Paula's primary community team role is to work with agricultural families to offer farm, home and road safety as well as other programming and services to our rural communities. She is passionate about health and safety and is an advocate for equity and wellbeing.
Music Therapist and Psychotherapist
Amelia Ballak
Amelia Ballak is a certified music therapist and registered psychotherapist at WCHC. Her role is working primarily with kids and teens, using creative approaches to express themselves and work through challenges they may face day to day. Growing up in the community, Amelia knows the importance of connecting with others. When she's not at work, you might find her playing sports, or laying in a hammock with her guitar.
Health Promoter
Tariq Abdulhadi
Tariq is a public health professional, graduated from the Master of Public Health program at the University of Waterloo. He has worked as a supervisor of a health promotion team and was part of the high priority communities strategy during the pandemic in Peel. He had worked with us in the past in 2020 before the pandemic but joined officially in 2022 as a health promoter. Tariq is passionate about science, public health, and community growth. Outside of work, Tariq loves to go for hikes in nature, listen to music, or going for a drive in the countryside...
Community Health Worker
Lauren Kells
Lauren is a Community Health Worker, who graduated from the Community & Criminal Justice Bachelors Degree Program at Conestoga College. Lauren has focused most of her career working in the community alongside children & youth, facilitating social and wellness programming. Lauren joined the Woolwich Township CHC team in June of 2022. When Lauren isn’t at work, you can likely find her exploring the outdoors with her Catahoula Leopard dog, making candles, spending time with family, or finding the next DIY project to create.
Interim Community Health Worker
Caley Klaassen
Caley is a community health worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Science and Psychology from Trent University, and a graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Algonquin College. As a young professional, Caley's journey has led her from working with youth experiencing homelessness to embracing the role of a Community Health Worker, where she is eager to face new challenges and make a positive impact in the Wellesley and Woolwich Community.
When she is not at the Community Health Centre, you can find her indulging in her love for arts and crafts, exploring the great outdoors with her dog, Timber, baking up a storm, or losing herself in a good book.
Low German Health Worker
Anna Wall
Anna Works with the Low German-speaking community. She provides language and cultural interpretation as well as social supports for participants in groups, ESL, nutrition, prenatal care, and the Healthy Smiles program. She enjoys road trips back to her Mennonite Colony in Durango, Mexico. She also loves cooking, especially Mexican food, writing about growing up ¨Dietsch¨ in Mexico, reading, studying social service work, and Spanish culture and language.

Oral Health Outreach Worker
Margret Gohl
Margret has been part of our community team at WCHC since 2019. She worked in private practice as a registered dental hygienist for 25 years before retiring and taking on a role in community work. She enjoys providing oral health education and assistance to schools, daycares and local community groups. With a love of art and gardening, she started a creative art program and several gardens here at the health centre. Margret enjoys her free time with her family, camping, hiking, and playing in the garden.
